at the entrance to Boothbay Harbour, Maine earned the name
of Cuckolds. In 1892 a fog signal station was
constructed to the barren rocks in southern Maine. |

lighthouse was added to the fog signal building.
In 1978 the keeper's quarters at
Cuckolds Lighthouse was destroyed, but the small beacon continued to shine. |

made to move the lighthouse back to its present location by
