He is holding a staff topped with a blue spiral in one hand, and is pulling a large wooden sled topped with a very ornately painted Treasure Chest.
This limited edition Santa is marked on the bottom as a "2-Year Production".
 
He is hand-signed on the bottom by the owner & designer of the company - Andre Gabricht.
 
He will come boxed with a certificate of authenticity.
 
 His face is all hand carved wood & the eyes are a very detailed painting.
 

The top of the Treasure Chest has a very detailed painting of a village on a snowy night.   Traditional folk art designs highlight the painting.
 
The top of the Treasure Chest opens;  it is constructed with small metal hinges.
 

This  happy Santa has an outstanding elaborately painted robe in red, accented with gold & ivory.
Santa's robe has traditional folk art designs painted all around.
The front of the robe has a very detailed scene of a deer on a snowy Christmas night.
 
During the delicate painting process, as the wood absorbs the paint, the artist applies layer after layer of the water color paint again & again, until the desired depth is achieved.
Every layer is applied without guidelines, and the artists can rely only on their skill and talent.
