"Asters" Dusty Rose Overlay Pitcher

1996 Family Signature Series

This pitcher, hand-crafted in Dusty Rose Overlay, exhibits a famous Fenton technique.

The cased glass pitcher is created by layering molten Dusty Rose over Milk Glass before the piece is blown, crimped, and handled by skilled craftsmen.

Award-winning artist and designer, Martha Reynolds, designed the hand painted Asters pattern.

This gorgeous pitcher is also hand painted by Martha Reynolds, and signed on the bottom.

This outstanding Fenton pitcher was featured on the cover of the Premier Edition of Fenton's collector magazine, The Glass Messenger, in Early Spring 1996.

The pitcher is hand signed by Martha Reynolds, the designer, and artist, and she has also written "Sample".

As part of the Family Signature Series, the signature of Lynn Fenton is stamped on the bottom.

Peach Crest Glass ...

Originated in 1939-40, when the Fenton glassworkers cased a bud of gold ruby glass by layering Milk Glass on the outside and adding a ring of pure crystal after the piece was blown to shape.

The gold ruby layer on the interior is uniform and thin, so it appears pink because of the Milk Glass covering it. Gold ruby is also used in making Cranberry Glass.

1999 Connoisseur Collection

This gorgeous Peach Crest basket was released in Summer 1999 and retired within a few months.

The melon basket mould was created in 1995.

Kim Plauche' Barley designed a delicate rose reminiscent of a Charleton pattern from the 1940s.

This basket also features a twisted crystal handle.

~ Limited Edition of 1750 ~

This basket is Number ONE of the edition, and the painting by C. Griffiths is excellent!

It is rare for Fenton to make Peach Crest, as it is a very difficult glass treatment.

The bottom of the basket shows the edition number, the Fenton logo, the designers name, and the painters name.

The basket comes in the original box, with a certificate of authenticity.

Favrene "Dancing Ladies" Covered Urn

2004-2005 Exclusive

Only owners of the special 100th Anniversary book, FENTON Handcrafted American Glass Artistry, had the opportunity to own this spectacular urn.

A coupon was included with the book for collectors to special order this exclusive piece.

The Favrene Urn glows with the shimmer of pure silver in the formula. Favrene begins with Cobalt Blue glass containing silver, that, when reheated, iridizes into a spectrum of colors.

The color and iridescence on this urn is outstanding. This is one of the most beautiful pieces of Favrene we have seen.

In 2004, Fenton sculptor Suzi Whitaker adapted Frank L. Frenton's Dancing Ladies design for this new covered urn.

The bottom has the special "100th Anniversary" logo mark.

There are the inscribed signatures of ten Fenton Family members.
