| NOTE: Cape Hatteras
was the first
Open Edition lighthouse in the Great Lighthouses of the World Series. |
| When first
introduced in 1994, the name for this open edition series
was "Great American Lighthouses". |
| However, this
name was changed to "Great Lighthouses of the World" (GLOW)
in 1995. |
| GLOW editions
are serially numbered with a letter prefix. The letter
prefix starts with "A" for the first production year & the
numbers restart at "1" each year. |
