The 175-foot Tender George Cobb is named for a courageous keeper of the Point Bonita Lighthouse who saved 3 sailors on Christmas Day 1896.
The Tender George Cobb is responsible for tending the West Coast buoy system.  It is also equipped for search & rescue.
