Designer Kim Barley employed an innovative stippled brush technique to blend colors in creating this distinctive decoration for a tulip vase, or Jack-in-the-Pulpit vase,  in the new Sky Blue color.
Kim's artistry replicates the look of hewn stone, and a leafy branch encircles the base.

First made in the 1920s, this color takes its name from the Italian celeste (pronounced "chay-less-tay"), which means "celestial, divine, or heavenly".
The splendid matte iridescence is a real tribute to the artisans who labored at Fenton some 80 years ago when this glass was first produced.
